Day of Caring is a one-day, county-wide day of volunteering. Traditionally, each year, United Way of Kitsap County recruits and coordinates 400+ volunteers for a one-day community-wide volunteer blitz. Individuals are matched with local non-profit and park organizations to accomplish minor and major renovations, such as painting, cleaning, landscape work, trail maintenance, garden prep, and much more. Work they would not normally be able to have done, due to the cost of labor. We invite you to check out pictures from past events on our Facebook page.
